4 Garden Days Ago…
Today was Garden Day in L’burg, and yesterday was Va’s 4th birthday. Four years ago last night, I was in labor and so, so tired after going to Garden Day and walking for forever. However, those words “in labor” are a key element of the story, and, after being 10 days late, I was happy not to be pregnant any more.
Here is the birthday girl at one of her parties–yes, she had a couple.
Here’s one of AP. She’s at a really cute stage right now, and she’s learned to say “cheese” whenever the camera appears. It’s actually very funny.
I didn’t make this one enlarge like the one of Va because it isn’t really in focus. I took a ton that day, and not a one of them is truly sharp. I’m afraid my camera may be dying. So I’ll leave you with the small pic and the illusion that it’s really in focus.
Overheard yesterday:
“Dear Lord, thank you wery, wery much for my new watch. I like it soooo much.”
“Are there any more presents?”
What do you want for your birthday supper VA?
“Ummm, pineapple, grapes, tomatoes.”
OKay, what about dessert?
“vanilla ice cream.” At least kids keep things simple!
