Pillowcase Dresses
So we went to the cutest birthday party last week. It was for a new friend of Va’s, and we had a great time. There were sisters there that had on the cutest dresses, and I found out that their mother made them. She said it was easy, so I thought that I would give it a try. I got online and found helpful info here and here and here. It took me about 2 hours to do the first one, but the second one took about 40 minutes. It was great! I took them to the store w/ the matching hair bows, and tons of people commented on how cute they were. Just had to share my new dress find. It’s perfect for somebody like me…short-ish attention span/not much patience with projects. You can use great material and ribbons, even pom-pom trim, and have this totally custom dress, but the best part is that it only takes little while to finish. That’s my kind of project.
