I realized that I never updated my vast readership :) about our school decision for VA next year.  We decided to send her to public school, Bedford Hills Elementary, specifically,  and it will be a grand adventure, I’m sure.  After visiting them all, we decided that it was the best fit for us.  We went to pre-register this week, and it went well.  She got a little scared when we walked through the cafeteria, and I was actually a little surprised. She’s usually so verbal and unhindered about speaking that it was unexpected–she got all quiet and wide-eyed.  There were a lot of bigger kids there and it was pretty loud, so it must have been intimidating.  She was interested in seeing the violin class, so I was thrilled. We’ve been talking about her starting lessons next year, but we don’t want to push her. That’s the school update for now.
